1 July 2019. Come and treat your family to a variety of gourmet food, and a day of painting during the Bastille Day and Art in the park celebrations, taking place at the Waterfall Market this month.
Waterfall Market, which has quickly gained popularity among locals and people beyond Waterfall, is offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy a bit of French culture, with Waterfall Market’s Bastille Day in the park, taking place on the 14 July. This event will bring together French culture enthusiasts, to celebrate the French public holiday with a range of special activities that include French music, cuisine, entertainment, art and monuments.
‘’With Bastille Day, we will be bringing the city of love to Waterfall, giving our visitors an opportunity to sample some of our favourite aspects of French culture,” says Waterfall Market founder, Greg Straw.
Activities for the Bastille Day in the park will include a performance by Club d’ Afrique French Band, market vendors providing French cuisine such as French onion soup, macaroons and croissants. Guests will also enjoy entertainment from an accordion player and a mime, as well as an opportunity to take selfies in front of the ‘Eiffel tower’.
All visitors are encouraged to bring out their berets and range of French clothing to stand a chance to win the best-dressed competition.
Later in the month, visitors can look forward to a fun afternoon of painting, at Waterfall Market’s Art in the park, set to take place on the 21 July.
